Family Support

Empowering families with the tools, understanding and connection to heal together.

Families: The Foundation of Recovery

Our family addiction support programs are designed to help parents, caregivers and loved ones understand substance use, learn effective ways to communicate and play an active role in the recovery process.

DYC families attend weekly group sessions every Wednesday evening, along with ongoing family and individual counseling as needed. These gatherings offer a safe space to share experiences, ask questions and develop new strategies for support and accountability.

Through education and connection, families learn to:

Building Community.

Strengthening Families.

Parents and family members aren’t just participants in our programs; they’re part of the DYC community. Many remain involved long after their loved one completes treatment, offering mentorship, advocacy and even serving on our Governing Board. Their continued involvement provides essential parent support for addiction recovery, ensuring that new families have guidance from those who’ve walked the same path.
